BIRDS OF TOKYO EDGE CLOSER TO THEIR FINAL AUSTRALIAN TOUR FOR 2011

With Birds of Tokyo about to kick off their recently announced Closer tour, presented by Radar Radio, a number of shows are a sell out with other cities about to slap sold out signs across box office windows! In less than four weeks time, the band will commence their twenty-two town tour across Australia to play their last shows for 2011 before heading into the studio for the summer.

Sydney’s Metro Theatre, The Forum in Melbourne, Bunbury’s Prince Of Wales, Coolangatta Hotel Gold Coast and Wollongong University have sold out as fans snapped up tickets to catch Birds play a very special unique show in these intimate size venues. The time is now to get your tickets!

The band has also just created a new site, which allows fans to peer into their world showing the processes / thoughts / writing / influences of Birds Of Tokyo.

Joining Birds Of Tokyo on the road will be the increasingly buzzworthy punk rockers Boy In A Box (aka Tij Priddle). Boy In A Box have just released their debut album and will join the tour from Newcastle onwards.

Also joining the tour will be Rockhampton locals, Busby Marou, who kick off the first two shows of the tour in Rockhampton and Bundaberg. Then one of the country’s most genuinely exciting new bands,The Medics will kick off the evening for southern Queensland and Northern NSW shows.

The complete dates and venues for Birds Of Tokyo: Closer are as follows and just a reminder that no extra shows will be added to this tour so fans be sure to get your tickets early to avoid disappointment.
