The nominations for the 2010 ARIA AWARDS were announced in Sydney earlier today and the awesome news is BIRDS OF TOKYO have been nominated for six ARIA Awards! The band have been nominated in the categories of BEST ROCK ALBUM, BEST MUSIC DVD, SINGLE OF THE YEAR (Plans), BEST GROUP, MOST POPULAR AUSTRALIAN ARTIST and ALBUM OF THE YEAR.

2010 ARIA AWARDS will take place at the iconic Sydney Opera House on Sunday, 7 November and broadcast on Network Ten.
