BIRDS OF TOKYO ANNOUNCE FINAL TWO SHOWS FOR THEIR ‘MARCH FIRES’ TOUR

With just over two weeks to go until the release of their new album, Birds Of Tokyo have just announced the last round of additional dates to be added to their March Fires Tour.

Due to demand, second and final shows have been added at the Enmore Theatre in Sydney on Sunday March 17 and at The Tivoli in Brisbane on Thursday March 21.  Tickets for both shows are on sale now.

Kicking off shows on the March Fires Tour will be some of the best local bands brewing around the country.  Along with special guests REGULAR JOHN who will be performaning at all dates with the exception of WA, the following bands will also join the bill in these states:

NEW VIDEO FOR ‘LANTERNS’

The video was directed by the talented Josh Logue (Hilltop Hoods, Empire of the Sun, The Rubens), filmed in the back streets of Sydney in December 2012.

 

A big shout out to fans who participated in the video shoot … we think it turned out amazingly well so hope you enjoy it.

 

LANTERNS is lifted from the band’s forthcoming album MARCH FIRES, out March 1.

NEW SINGLE ‘LANTERNS’ RELEASED TODAY + 2ND MELBOURNE SHOW ADDED TO NATIONAL FEB/MARCH TOUR

With the new year upon us, Birds of Tokyo have released the second single LANTERNS, lifted from their forthcoming album MARCH FIRES, out March 1.

The single is accompanied by a striking video directed by Josh Logue (Hilltop Hoods, Empire of the Sun, Ruben) which will be released later this month, so keep your eyes peeled for the first glimpse. A big shout out to fans who participated in the video shoot … we think it turned out amazingly well.
